In line with Presidential Council Decision No. (126) of 2019 from the Government of National Accord, the Genetic Fingerprinting Center has been entrusted with exciting responsibilities that pave the way for significant advancements. These include:

Developing a comprehensive genetic fingerprinting system for Libyan citizens, along with analyzing samples gathered through the National Number Program.
Performing DNA analyses and delivering tailored results to relevant authorities for their specific needs.
Conducting research on DNA and keeping pace with scientific innovations in the field to explore their potential benefits.
